A slurry trench is an underground wall excavated from the surface generally with a backhoe. During the excavation the trench is continuously filled with an appropriate mixture of soil/cement or soil/bentonite to create barriers, mainly for impervious cutoffs and environmental purposes.
Matcon provides equipment (backhoes and grout plants of high production) as well as expertise (labour and engineering) for the construction of slurry trenches.
